More tomorrow as I'm nutso tired, but Michael Pollan was great, and I'm so glad I went. On the other end of my enthused spectrum is complete revulsion over the Prop 26 battle in Mississippi right now. Have y'all seen this? The crazy rightists want to declare personhood for a fertilized egg from moment 1 and thus ban not only all abortions but also IUDs, morning-after pills, etc. I just love the respect for all others these folks have.
