Jack makes puppets

Not only am I thrilled by the fact that Jack both started AND finished an art project, but also I love these puppets he made. We also, at his behest, just went out to lunch where he ordered a ham and cheese sandwich but told the waitress that as he did not like cheddar or Swiss, could he please instead have Gruyere. She was definitely amused. Before we left, I asked Jack if he could please wear something other than a police outfit today. Look what he chose- isn't he dapper?!  Yes, that is a glen plaid cap.

In a terrifying development, Oliver seems to be considering giving up his nap. He's screeching, "I have a fever, mommy, really." Puh-lease.
