Major investment of time but really good!

Ok peeps, I did read the recipe in advance, and I also saw that it would take 1.5 hours. Nonetheless, I was somewhat taken aback by what an involved dish this Burrata with Bacon, Escarole and Caramelized Shallots was. Caramelize the shallots, make a marinade, make a dressing, make the toasts, toss, pile, etc. If I were to charge T for this, I'd charge him $10/piece. Damn! However, it was fan-freaking-tastic. I liked the radicchio sub but did sprinkle it with a tablespoon or so of sugar to tame the bitterness as T just does not have the bitter-lovin' gene. And the broccoli dish was as good as ever. YUM! I'll post links to both recipes.

Can't wait to try the cheesecake tomorrow with my pals.
