Look at all the beautiful produce Oliver and I found at the farmers’ market this morning. I’m going to try and pickle the green tomatoes as I’m still thinking about that great meal at Gramercy Tavern; as I noted, there was a pickled element in almost every dish, and one we liked best was the pickled green tomato.

I haven’t had Mark Bittman’s potato salad recently so am going to make that with these darling potatoes: if you haven’t tried this recipe, do. It’s in Em-i-lis recipes.

A prolific cook on Food52 was recently chosen as an Editor’s Pick for her summer squash and minted aioli dish, so I’m going to make that with these gorgeous summer squash. And with the rest, we’ll just wait and see.

I would also like to add that grass-fed, creamline milk is DIVINE. Oliver asked for milk while we were at the market, so we headed over to get a quart. It’s so whole that it has a tinge of yellow from the residual cream. It is delicious! Aah!
