Chinese 5 Spice smells to the nines

Wow! This stuff smells amazing: freshly ground star anise, fennel seeds, cinnamon, white pepper, black pepper, cloves. The plum and port jam spiced with it sounds incredible, and I think this would also make a great rub for meats.
