Truly, this was a perfect dinner. Right up my alley. So, so good. WOW! Nancy Silverton is a genius with balsamic vinegar and alliums. I wanted to die/cry over the Sicilian pine nut and currant relish she has you make to top the roast carrots, and it will more than definitely become a staple recipe in my repertoire. Holy! And this was my best approximation yet -over three years; recipe posted tonight- of 2Amy's fava bean crostini. Good lord, it was heavenly. T was positively swooning. Me too. The color! The ingredients! The flavor! The "oh-my-god-please-just-one-more-bite" sensation!
