Wine in hand (finally!), boys in bed before 9p (finally!), news
/The boys are in bed and asleep before 9p for the first time since we arrived. Grazie, grazie! I've just had a much-needed bath -I LOVE all this walking but you do get dirty what with the moto fumes, children, and so forth- and finally feel well enough to have a bold glass of vino nobile in hand before dinner! Will wonders never cease?! Unfortunately, we weren't able to join my parents out for dinner tonight because I couldn't bear the thought of another late night of corralling youths, but it is nice to be in my PJs with wine by my side and bells in the background. And, my celery gelato with rhubarb compote was chosen as an editor's pick on food52!! Yay!
