Tart, beans, wine

Suuuuch a good dinner. We both enjoyed the beet tart, and as a side, I cooked the green beans harvested from our yard (the red runners I wrote about recently) and some fresh Borlotti beans from the farmers market with onions and water and then dressed them with olive oil, lemon juice and black pepper. Have y'all ever had shell beans like that? It's the bomb. That's the way Louisiana folks eat black-eyed peas on New Years Day. Awesome. Who has enjoyed Pinot Noir by Ponzi? If you haven't please do.
