Peaches and mozzarella, risotto
/Well, we sure had some great wine tonight, and the food wasn't half bad either. :) We opened a 2009 Grgich Fume Blanc and then a half bottle of the Hamacher 2006 Chard we were gifted in OR. Yum! I made a buffalo mozzarella, peach, mint and pistachio salad which was both beautiful and delish. I also made an asparagus, shallot risotto that everyone really liked but I thought was just OK. The Julia cake is beyond compare, and I'll keep you posted on how the freezing/thawing goes.Off for some TV and bed. Kinda hard to be back on a 5:30am forced wake-up. Sigh...
