Odd advice for cutting onions?

Y'all, I'm slogging through the gauntlet that is Whole Foods on a Friday afternoon, and yellow onions are on sale. Trying to be helpful, a sign over them encourages us to cut under running water to avoid onion tears. Doesn't that sound a bit difficult? What if I want my onion juice?The answer is onion goggles, peeps. Ive said it before, and I'll say it again!
