Mulish Monday

Readers, I am feeling rather stifled and blah today. Anyone else in the DC-area get stuck in the traffic-from-hell on Wisconsin? Gawd, that did not help things. When pretty much everything about a highly-trafficked street is upended and construction vehicles are everywhere, perhaps it's worth it to pay extra for after-hours work on behalf of the mental well-being of your citizens.Oliver is such a hoot, but today has not been rich in the intellectual realm. At one point he averred, "poop really stinks and it sticks to your butt." So true but really, I'm still the one in charge of wiping and de-sticking that stuff so feel I've got the lousier end of the stick.

All I could then think to do was make lemon curd. It is such a perfect, scrumptious substance! Aah...
