Lobster with herbed egg noodles and sherry

I knew I'd find some fabulous use for the lobster tails I bought during a recent Whole Foods One Day special. While attempting to organize my recipe file today -a ridiculous, never-ending project that I rather enjoy- I came across this dish featured in the NYTimes Dining section sometime in 2008. You can see that I'm behind not only in my magazine currency but also in clipped recipes to-be-made, hence the never-ending organization-of-the-file task. Anyway, this recipe's time has come. I've got the pasta dough resting, the lobster tails thawing and some wine chilling as finally, finally, I feel pretty much back to normal. Amen! Have y'all heard about Behind the Beautiful Forevers, a newly released book about a Mumbai slum? I've heard amazing things about it and started reading it today. The author, Katherine Boo, is a Pulitzer-winning journalist who has divided her time for the past 10 years between India and the U.S. It's very compelling so far.
