Blech
/Well, if they're in the same family, stinging nettles and poison ivy sure don't taste similarly. And I do not think the s.n.'s taste like spinach. Blech. This was a hard-won way to find out that I do NOT like freaking stinging nettles. I threw out most of these pretty ravs- sad! I am not one to toss food, as freakish about waste as I am, but this just didn't float my boat. It had a weird sweetness, almost like some kitchen elf had sneaked a bit of soy sauce into my saute. And when get an Asian inflection in your food when you think you're going Italian, it's a bit weird. In any case, yuck and sad. And boo on the millions of pots, pans and so forth I've now to clean.
