Apple season

The apples are coming! The apples are coming! I usually kick off apple season with a batch of my applesauce. I got the recipe from my Aunt Renee years ago and feel it is pretty perfect. I'll post the recipe after O and I return from the farmers market. This year I want to just into apple butter making. I love the stuff but have never made it on my own before. The boys love fresh cider, then there are pies to be made, apples to be roasted with onions and sweet potatoes...Aah, fall is in the air!
