Apple Butter

Wow! This food mill works! I started with 6 pounds of apples (mostly Ginger Golds) and ended up with 11 cups of puree. Look how little apple refuse was left in the mill! So now the spiced puree (cinnamon, cloves, allspice and sugar) is cooking down on the stove, and boy does it smell good. The only problem (which I know Tom could have told you would be the issue) is that I kinda wanna go to bed, but this puppy needs to cook down at least two more hours. Ah well.
