Aaah

I arrived at our hotel not two hours ago and have already eaten at ‘wichcraft (not standout, Tom Colicchio; what’s up?!), bought the sunhat I’ve been wanting, stumbled upon and immediately snapped up a great pair of earrings from a street artisan, got samples at Sephora, was sad to find only a peanut butter version of the spelt brownie I wanted from Whole Foods (I don’t do peanut butter in cookies or brownies), and had a glass of a fabulous Chablis which Tom had waiting in the room.

Holy kid-free weekend, Batman!

IN HEAVEN!

Stopping in Philly

I love Philadelphia! It is such a great place, not least because it has an amazing food scene. If you have an antiquated negative sense of Philly, throw it out and refresh. The city is smart but not pretentious, cultured yet down to earth, educated, full of art, food, outdoorsy’ness . I could go on. If you’re inclined to head up (or down) for a visit, try Zahav, Amada and Distrito. Fast for at least four hours before each meal- sooo delish!
