Yotam strikes for dinner again tonight

For Meatless Monday, I look no further than Yotam. I picked up a gorgeous bunch of red chard yesterday so wanted to use it; upon perusing the chard-based recipes in Plenty, there was but one that I haven’t yet made. Thus, we will be enjoying a Swiss chard, chickpea and tamarind stew. If y’all have read my posts on Indian take-out nights, you know how I feel about tamarind. It is decadent- like a complex, viscous syrupy elixir. So, I can’t imagine how this isn’t going to be great.

How gorg is this chard?

Really?

Percy (dog) just dug up and ate another dog’s poop; Oliver insisted on running with Jack’s lunch box and now has an enormous brushburn; I now have blood on my white shirt; he’s also screaming that everything is his; Jack will not stop talking and is trying to smooth rocks but rubbing them vigorously against each other on my dining room table; at least he got a placemat to work on.

Note: the wine is going into the fridge now.

PS- The store also put my heirloom tomato (read: $$) on the bottom of my bag. Guess what is split now?! Shnikeys!
