Each year, after my two peonies bloom and flee, I wait, anxiously, for the stunning Casablanca lilies to reveal themselves. Utter floral perfection, yes?

Look at the peonies today, you guys. They are grandstanding like preening peacocks! Just spectacular, and I'm sorry they'll soon be gone.

I plucked this little guy from the ground too, washed and ate it within 3 minutes.

This is why I garden! Well, it's one reason.
